Offline(ish)
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
This policy explains what Offline(ish) ("we," "us") collects when you use offlineish.app and the Offline(ish) app, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short on purpose. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].
What we collect
- What you tell us in the quiz. Your first name, your email address, and your answers: how you use your phone, which apps pull you most, the level you choose, your two habits to cap, your reward, and your start date.
- What the app records as you use it. Which daily tasks you complete, your streaks, your check-in answers, your dopamine menu, badges, and settings. This is saved so your progress follows you between devices.
- Purchase details. When you buy, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card. We never see or store your card number. We receive your email, the amount, and a transaction reference so we can turn on your access and handle refunds.
- Technical basics. Like almost every website, our hosting provider logs IP addresses and browser types for security and to keep the site running. We may also use analytics and advertising pixels; see the Cookie Policy.
Why we collect it
- To build your personal 30-day Reset from your quiz answers and carry it into the app.
- To give you access after you pay, and to sign you in with a code sent to your email.
- To save your progress.
- To email you. If you take the quiz, we may send you emails about Offline(ish), including reminders about finishing your purchase. If you buy, we send emails that support your 30 days. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your access to the app.
- To answer support requests and handle refunds.
- To understand how people use the quiz and the app so we can improve them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run Offline(ish), each of which is bound to use it only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase stores your account, quiz answers, and progress.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Resend and Google Workspace deliver sign-in codes and support email.
- Kit sends our marketing and program emails.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from attacks.
- Advertising and analytics platforms, if we use their pixels, as described in the Cookie Policy.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
Quiz answers and account data are kept while you have an account and for a reasonable period afterward for support and legal purposes. Email marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email.
- See or correct what we hold about you, or delete your account and data, by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account. We'll act on it within 30 days. Deleting your account ends your access to the app.
- Residents of California, the EU/UK, and other places with privacy laws have additional rights, including access, portability, correction, deletion, and the right to object to certain processing. Use the same email; we honor these requests regardless of where you live. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your email, so there is no password to steal. Each account can only read its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your email account safe, since it is the key to your Offline(ish) account.
Children
Offline(ish) is for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Where your data lives
Our services are hosted in the United States. If you use Offline(ish) from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the US.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know by email or in the app.
